Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Eons. If you are under the age of majority in your country of residence (commonly 18), you may only use the Service, and in particular only make any purchase, with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

To access most features, you must create an account. You may register using an email address and password, or via Google sign-in. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Notify us promptly at berulava@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Eons lets players arrange historical events in chronological order across various game modes, including a free Daily Challenge, a Casual/Progression mode, and a Ranked mode. Certain modes, levels, or features may be designated as free, while others may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase, as described on the Service at the relevant time. We may add, modify, or remove features, game modes, or content at our discretion.

Where the Service offers a premium subscription ("Premium") or one-time content packs:

• Prices are displayed at the point of purchase and may change with notice for future billing cycles.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor [Payment Processor Name — TBD]. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Except where required by applicable law (including consumer protection law in your country of residence), purchases and subscription fees are non-refundable.
• Content packs and other digital purchases are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the Service; they are not sold to you and may not be resold, transferred, or used outside the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to play the game, manipulate scores, or interact with the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying fact database, source code, or design assets for use outside the Service.
• Harass, impersonate, or post abusive content via any display name, avatar, or other user-facing field.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.

Certain information you provide — including your display name, avatar, country, current level, streak, and total score — is displayed publicly on leaderboards and profile pages as part of the Service's core functionality. Do not include personal, sensitive, or identifying information in your display name or avatar if you do not want it publicly visible. See the Privacy Policy for more detail on what is public versus private.

If we introduce user-submitted content (for example, community-submitted facts) in the future, additional terms covering ownership, moderation, and licensing will apply and will be presented to you before that feature goes live.

The Service, including its game design, mechanic, fact database, visual design system, branding, and all associated content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes as intended, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.

Historical facts themselves are not owned by anyone; the specific selection, descriptions, and presentation of those facts within Eons are our content.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we take reasonable care to verify the historical facts presented in the Service, we do not warrant that all content is free of error, and the Service should not be relied upon as an academic or authoritative historical source.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or, where applicable, certain consumer protection obligations.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 12) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, via email or an in-Service notice) before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Georgia, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
